وبعد تقديم لمحة تاريخية عن القضاء بالمملكة المغربية، تم إطلاع الوفد الأمريكي على مسلسل إصلاح منظومة العدالة، وآليات تعزيز استقلالية القضاء واستقلالية المجلس الأعلى للسلطة القضائية ورئاسة النيابة العامة، تنفيذا للرؤية الإصلاحية للملك محمد السادس.
وشكل هذا اللقاء، حسب بلاغ للمجلس، مناسبة للتطلع نحو تعزيز العلاقات القضائية بين المجلس الأعلى للسلطة القضائية بالمغرب، والمؤسسات القضائية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وتعزيز علاقات التعاون في مختلف المجالات التي تهم الشأن القضائي، وكذا تبادل الوفود والزيارات، للاستفادة من التجارب الفضلى في مجال العدالة.
